The Kidz Kitchen is thrilled to introduce our
Assistant Chef-in-Training Program
This exciting opportunity is perfect for motivated and responsible students who want to develop essential skills,
​make an impact, and be part of a supportive and engaging team.

Earn Volunteer Hours:
Perfect for meeting high school or club requirements or National Honor Society prerequisites. 

Boost Your Resume:
 Gain experience that demonstrates teamwork, responsibility, and leadership—qualities that stand out to colleges and future employers.

Make a Difference:
 Play a key role in helping children develop cooking and communication skills.

Skill Development:
 Learn about food preparation, kitchen organization, and time management in a real-world setting.

Personal Recommendation: 
Receive a personalized letter of recommendation to assist with college applications and job references!
Program Criteria
  • Must be 16 years or older
  • Have a genuine interest in working with children and food
  • Available to assist on Saturdays between the hours 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM or Summer Camps (see application for details)
  • Comfortable performing tasks such as: washing dishes, assisting with set-up and clean-up duties, taking photos for our social media platforms, supporting children as they learn to cook
  • Be responsible, punctual, and ready to work as part of a team
